We carried out the Design and Build alterations to the staff entrance at HMP Barlinnie including the formation of a key vend facility, alterations to the staff reception area and replacement of existing lockers including all associated services.
The reception desk we installed at HMP Barlinnie was created off site by our manufactured joinery team. Works were completed out with normal working hours.
The works comprised down takings of non-load bearing partitions, removal of suspended ceilings and the installation of a wheelchair hoist. We also carried out structural alterations to existing steel work and floors, alterations to mechanical and electrical services to suit new room layouts, new woodwork such as partition doors, windows, skirting’s and linings. In addition to this we installed x-ray equipment and counter, new floor coverings, redecoration works, fixtures and fittings and the manufacture and installation of lockers.
