Clark Contracts has been appointed to Wheatley Housing Group (WHG)’s Construction Framework.

The framework, which will run for the next four years, will cover predominantly new builds, but may also include conversion and refurbishment works to existing properties including non-residential and/or listed buildings.

It is anticipated that up to 1,000 units per year could be delivered through the framework, across the central belt and Dumfries and Galloway, with the framework also available for use across any region in Scotland.

WHG is one of the UK’s largest builders of social rented homes and have an ambitious growth strategy with a commitment to build 4,000 new homes over 4 years and 12,500 new homes over the next 10 years contributing significantly to Scottish Government ‘More Homes Scotland’ targets and increasing supply of new low carbon homes across Scotland.

Gordon Cunningham, Managing Director at Clark Contracts, said, “Having delivered over £85m of residential projects in the last 3 years, we are delighted to have secured a place on this framework. We are looking forward to working with Wheatley Housing Group and supporting them with their commitment to constructing 4,000 affordable and low-carbon homes over the next 4 years.”

Clark Contracts are already appointed to several residential frameworks, including for Link Group, LAR Housing Trust, the Scottish Procurement Alliance’s New Build Housing Framework and Scotland Excel’s New Build Residential Framework.
