Following 16 consecutive Gold Medal Awards, we were awarded a second consecutive Order of Distinction from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in 2022
Clark Contracts prides itself in developing a sustainable health and safety culture which can demonstrate year on year improvements in performance and accident reduction.
Our Project Teams are required to hold the following mandatory training:
SMSTS - Site Management Safety Training Scheme.
CSCS – Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
First Aid at Work - on larger projects we will often have multiple first aiders who will be drawn from site management, operatives and subcontractors, Clark Contracts currently have 65 trained first aiders in the company.
Scaffold Inspection - our project teams are trained to inspect standard scaffolding.
PASMA - to ensure the safe erection/ dismantling of tower scaffolds.
Asbestos Awareness - all management, operatives and subcontractors will require to be trained where asbestos is present on site; all asbestos removal contractors will either have operatives trained to remove licensed or non-licensed materials.
Work at Height Awareness - general internal training on work at height.
Risk Management - general internal training on compliance with the risk assessment process.
Temporary Works Co-ordinator – All Site Managers are qualified Temporary Works Co-ordinators through CITB training, allowing them to manage the temporary works process on all projects.
