We are always working towards raising the awareness of career opportunities at Clark Contracts and within the construction industry. As part of this, we regularly offer work experience placements across a variety of disciplines through our Academy.
Recently, a number of students have been gaining valuable work experience with us. Frankie, a student from Bristol University, completed a two week placement on site at our project at the Former Police Building in Greenock for Inverclyde Council. Whilst on site Frankie, who is completing a degree in Civil Engineering assisted the site team with lifting site sizes, attending site meetings and assisting the Site Manager with daily activities around the site.
We also have two international students working with us for a five week period through our partnership with West College Scotland. Tino and Juuso-Matias are students in Finland studying a variety of trades and will be working on a number of our sites allowing them to experience a variety of different projects across our company divisions.
